Privacy policy – DeepTech Alliance

We are DeepTech Alliance, company VAT registration number DK 44504472, with registered address at Diplomvej 381, 2800 Kgs. Lyngby, Denmark (“DeepTech Alliance”, “DTA”, “we” or “us”). This document contains a policy statement regarding our collection, use and processing of personal data (“Privacy Policy”).
This Privacy Policy is applicable when you use the DTA website https://www.deeptechalliance.org/, sign up for our newsletter or when you fill a form to become a participant, member, partner or sign up to participate in an event which is created through our service providers. Depending on how you interact with us, some sections of this Privacy Policy may not apply.

NEWSLETTERS AND CONTACT FORMS
When you agree to receive newsletters or complete a contact form via our website, we store your personal data. We process the following information:

DTA Science Park a/s uses web-based services like Mailchimp to handle subscription flows and conduct analyses. Data is stored on their servers within the EU or within the Privacy Shield cooperation and will not be disclosed.
You can unsubscribe to newsletters at the bottom of each newsletter, where you can also view and change your contact information. Messages received via the completed contact forms are stored for up to six months.
EVENTS
DTA uses the web-based service Confetti to handle signups and carry out analyses. Data is stored on their servers within the EU or within the Privacy Shield cooperation and will not be disclosed. We process the following information:

PERSONAL DATA ABOUT CUSTOMERS AND BUSINESS PARTNERS
DTA processes general contact information about our customers and business partners in order to fulfill our contractual relationships and provide the services promised. The data is processed securely and confidentially and is not disclosed to others.
Legal ground
Consent. When signing up as participants, members or partners of DTA or for our newsletter or when you sign up to participate in an event which is created through our service providers you consent to the processing of the personal data as set out in this Privacy Policy.
Legitimate interest. The processing of your personal data is conducted based on our legitimate interest in developing and improving our services and business as well as our website. We use your information to provide services or information that you applied for or contacted us about through our website or email, and might use your personal information to contact you about our business, programs, and events in the future.

We may also keep anonymous versions of your data and process it for statistical purposes indefinitely as it will no longer constitute personal data.

The Services are not directed to persons under the age of 13. If you are a parent or guardian of a person under the age of 13 and you become aware of that the child has provided personal data to us without your consent, please contact us to exercise your access, rectification, erasure, limiting of processing and objection rights.
Links to other sites and social plugins
Our website uses social plugins from social networks. If you click on one of the buttons, a new window of your browser opens, and the page of the respective social network is opened. On that site, you can login, press like or share buttons etc. When clicking on plugin links or other links on our website or in newsletters, the collection of personal data is outside of our control. The policy of the other website will apply for the personal data obtained from you on that website.
