About the Energy program
In this program, we match European startups with corporate partners internationally. The program is light enough to allow participants to focus on their own business development during the process. The Kick-off event and the concluding Summit are physical events, allowing for participants to connect with peers and other program participants, while other activities are managed online.
A top-ranked program feature is the matchmaking opportunities arranged during the program, with 1-to-1 meetings based on participants’ offerings and interests.
The program also provides one online session per week on relevant topics, such as pricing and B2B Sales conversion. Participation in these is optional, and sessions are recorded to allow for catching up on relevant sessions afterwards.
The program offers startups:
- Handheld matchmaking with corporate partners across Europe.
- Investor pitch and matchmaking with preferred investors.
- Optional mentoring with experts that will help you understand, approach, and engage with corporates.
- Peer-to-peer network with best-in-class startups from all over Europe
- Physical kick-off event.
- Free participation in the end-of-the-year event: DeepTech Alliance Explore 2025.
Startup/scale-up participants requirements
- Technology company registered in a European Country (including non-EU countries like the UK, Norway, Switzerland, Ukraine, etc.)
- Ready to engage with big industrial clients (TRL 5-9)
- Program participation fee 1.000 €. The participation fee covers all program content including lunches and networking dinners during the events.
- Participants are to cover travel to/from and lodging related to kick-off event and concluding Summit.
Specific needs requested by participating corporates
- Geothermal systems (both power & heat), including drilling and borehole heating.
- Low-temperature district heating, waste heat recovery, and underground water basins for energy storage.
- Wind, solar (especially offshore), and hydro energy solutions.
- Focus on low-cost energy alternatives and long-duration storage (thermal, electrochemical).
- Decarbonization through storage systems and solutions that outperform lithium-ion batteries.
- Energy flexibility (optimizing with solar/wind), power trading, and electricity grid resilience.
- Advanced weather forecasting for energy management and solutions to overcome grid scaling challenges.
- Water leak detection, treatment, and industrial/agri water management.
- Waste-to-energy solutions, biogas production, and syngas conversion from waste.
- Hydrogen development (especially non-electrolysis methods), and biofuels production using sustainable feedstocks and agritech innovations.
- Ammonium-related solutions
- Solutions/alternatives for critical raw materials (lithium, copper, rare earths) with an overlap to upstream resource capabilities.
- Emissions control, particularly methane and high-temperature heat decarbonization.
- Advanced HVAC systems, solid-state transformers, and desalination technologies.
- Innovative solutions in waste recycling, mobility services, fleet management, and digital energy marketplaces.

Clean Energy Summit 2024
DeepTech Alliance Clean Energy 2024 Summit in Barcelona, Spain.
“We have been participating in a large number of accelerators, start up programs and competitions during the last 10 years. Deep Tech Alliance offers something different by making real introductions to corporates that saves a lot of time and creates real business value to all parties.”
“Participate! Definitely worth the time and effort.”
“The DeepTech Alliance program is a great way of getting connected to large corporations, which are typically difficult to reach, but also investors as well as other startups. In addition, the program offers a wide range of high-quality lectures on important topics that every start-up needs to understand to start doing business with such corporations.”
“The number of relevant contacts gained has definitely exceeded our expectations, so it’s now up to ourselves to keep them cooking and hopefully make some deals to get our unique energy storage capacitor system into the market.”
“The program has given us valuable insights on how to fuel our company into international business opportunities. The introduction to business partners has opened business opportunities all over Europe for us!”
